WOYWW

My desk has not been this clean for months. It looks nice, but it means there are no projects are going on.
What it does mean, is that my favorite people are coming to have Thanksgiving dinner with us; 4 children and 7 of the 8 grandchildren, and various other relatives.
There are some ornaments on the left ; the little bottle with a picture and glitter, made by friend Dixie.  Also a Kelly Rae Roberts candle. I made the tree from sheet music. I love my "glove in the bottle", and my tacky glue! Peacock feathers inspire me; the barn "purse" was painted back in the early 70s, when I took some classes in decorative painting from Gerry Klein, back in St. Louis. I use it to hold wet wipes. The pencils are handy for my little artist, grand daughter who will be here. They are in a leather holder made by son, Chris. "Believe" of course, is what I do every day. The water color on the wall is one of my favorite paintings. If you want to see what others are busy doing this Holiday week, go to Julie's site and click on a name.

Happy Thanksgiving

I am folding up the studio to get ready for guest for Thanksgiving.
My lady stands here wearing some of my favorite things.
The lace is being added to a blouse. I wore all the pearls downtown for Ladies Night Out, along with the "wings on a heart". The sparkly thing on the belt is a flask belt buckle, and the angel reminds me that Chrisrmas will be here soon. These are a few of my favorite things, as the song goes. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Count your blessings, and be grateful every day for friends and family, and everything the good Lord gives us.

I have been busy in the workshop, drilling, and cutting with my Dremel.
There is so much that you can do with a Dremel; I just have to learn how to do it!
These are some of my creations that have been in my head for awhile, and just now getting them put together. I'm wearing my "wings" tonight for "Girl's Night" Out in downtown Georgetown.

WOYWW

What are you up to? I just made a veggie casserole with those wonderful veggies I received.
I used the eggplant, peppers, 1 jalapeno, onion, sweet potato, and diced tomatoes. Put a little cheese on top and baked for 40 min.
My desk is still full of jewelry pieces. I am on a push to get a few more pieces made before I put it away for the Thanksgiving Holiday. My family is pretty understanding, but I am beginning to take over every room in the house with my various supplies. Be sure to go to Julie's site and check out what others are doing.

Fall Gardens

Such a pretty site! Our neighbor has gifted us with several eggplants. I usually just slice them into a 13X9 dish, add some diced tomatoes and lot of herbs and spices, maybe a jalapeno, chopped really fine. Add some nice shredded cheese on top and bake for about 40 minutes. That is my slimmed down version of eggplant Parmesan. Another friend dropped off some peppers from her garden. I have already used several of these. Don't they look pretty in this wire and bead wrapped basket? This basket was fun to make and looks good too.

WOYWW= What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday

It is sure good to be home after a long trip. I usually drop everything on my desk. I did some crocheting while I was gone. I made a market bag that turned out a little too big. Also bought a big box of stamps; left most of them with our granddaughter. I kept an alphabet, and some "word sayings". On the right is a small journal that granddaughter and I add to every time we visit. Be sure to check out the desks on Julie's blog to see what others are doing this Wednesday.

Gratitude Every Day

Gratitude every day will change your life. I am joining many others here to share the many reasons to be grateful. I am so grateful that we got to travel at this time of year and see the beautiful Fall leaves, the tranquility of the Indiana farmland, and the amazing hills in Ohio. I am thankful for God's great earth, family and friends that we visited. Why not join us at Gale's site  and express your gratitude? Before long you will find that you are healthy, happy, and filled with peace and love, that you can pass on to others. Here are some of the beautiful trees.
