Progress is being made on my painting, photo transfer, collage.
I added some paint to the tree, and subdued some of the other areas.
I am not finished, but it does look better.

Signs of Spring

I didn't have to travel far to see the signs of Spring.
Actually these geraniums are several months old, and they are
so full and beautiful, I had to put them in my

journal.

The sun is coming up on Surfside beach, and we are gearing up for another Art Retreat!
I made this page in my journal just to remind me of the smell of salty sea water and the fresh morning air.
Looking forward to the good food and a little wine of course, as well as lots of art projects and laughter with good friends. 

Creativity Plus

There is no shortage of creativity in this house!
Hubby has been busy using all those wine corks
that we, (and everyone else) has been collecting.
Honest folks, I like wine, but this is too much!
I think he did a super job; I love it. He bought this piece of furniture
that we use for a bar in an antique store several years ago; it had a bo bo on top, so
this treatment took care of it. We should have done it a long time ago.
Now every time I look at the new bar, I just want to pop a cork
to celebrate!!

WOYWW

Working slowly because of Easter. I did some stenciling on this
and also tried 2 photo transfers. I used the gel medium method,
which did not work as well as I had hoped. I will keep going.
Also working in my journal. I always seem to work with the same colors.
There is a small pile of acrylic chips in the corner which I will probably use on the canvas.
Also painted some metal hearts with alcohol inks. I am using them in my jewelry project. I'm beginning to think I have an attention problem. Slip over here to see what others are doing.

Easter leftovers

This is all we had left after a great Easter dinner.
A pile of dead "peeps", and an empty plate.
Lots of fond memories!

21 Secrets

Yea! 21 Secrets is available today for all those that have signed up.
I am looking forward to getting messy and making some good journal
pages. My favorites will be made into "serious" art. I love to play with my paints, and have so many new ideas. I will be posting some of my fun in days to come.
