Spring in Texas

This painting is from a photo that was taken on the way to Fredricksburg last year. Plenty of bluebonnets on the hillside. I painted this as part of the expressive landscape class, trying to relax, and give the impression of flowers without painting each one. Now going to try my luck at an abstract landscape, which is harder than it should be.
