A Little Humor

This is our family's way of keeping a little humor in the holidays.
Our daughter-in-law always makes sure "LEON" is in place on the mantle for the holidays.
Who in the heck is LEON???? That is our little secret!!!

WOYWW

I made some "bead key rings" for small gifts this year. I have used mine for several years and it is always easy to find in my purse. It is an easy project with 20 gauge wire and beads. You can buy the rings in a package at the hobby store. I  love putting the colors together; the only catch is, the hole in the bead has to be big enough for the wire to go through. There are several people over on Julie's

site to share with; have a look.

Geese or gourds???

Have you ever seen a gaggle
of gourds??  They look like they have been around for a few years. Each one has her own personality. These are sitting proudly on a neighbor's porch.

Surprise Package!!

Look what I got today in the mail today from my favorite sister-in-law!!
Its a good thing that it was in one of those flat rate boxes, because it was very heavy.
I will have to gift the postman with something special for lugging this around.
Can't wait to dive into it. Doesn't take much to get me excited. I love to take something old, and make it new again!  Recycle, up-cycle, refurbish, re-purpose, whatever...pardon me while I go play.

WOYWW already!!

This past week has been wonderful, but seemed to fly by. Had a wonderful time with the family for Thanksgiving. Now it is back to work!
My desk today is full of many projects. I am "thinking" about Christmas cards...I know, it is late.
Some jewelry to go to the co-op. Santa Clause with his red tennis shoes on; he is going to help me get it all done. Please go over to Julie's site and see what others are doing. Maybe they are more organized that I am. I plan on using the plastic snowflake ornament for a stencil, as well as the red cardboard with the holes, when I try out my Gelli plate. The photo in the frame is going to the Gallery today. The little tiny frame on the right is probably 100 years old. It is very fragile. It needs a new mylar insert to protect the picture. Today is a good day!
