Tree of Life

It is always fun to look back in the files and find something that you did long ago, and realize that
you are on the same track once again. I call this one The Tree of Life. It is colored with metallic markers.

Flower of Life

Flower of Life - Sacred Geometry

www.bibliotecapleyades.net/geometria.../esp_geometria_sagrada_6.htm
The flower of life holds a secret symbol created by drawing 13 circles out of the Flower of Life. By doing this, one can discover the most important and sacred pattern in the universe. This is the source of all that exists; it's called the Fruit of Life. It contains 13 informational systems.

The Star Mandala

A combination of curves and lines in this one. I have lost count; wonder if I'm getting close to 100.

Wednesday, September 16, 2015

I will be posting my black and white mandalas, even though I'm a little behind.
Can't figure out why all of my black and white pictures are on a light blue background.
Can someone help me?

Simple Mandala

I tend to like the simpler designs. It gives the mind a place to rest; sometimes,
Less is More.

Beauty in Simplicity

I was pleased with the way this Mandala turned out; light and airy. Again, this is painted with watercolors,
emphasizing the simplicity of the design.

3 D Mandala

This is one of my favorites. The center circle looks like it is overlapping the blue. I guess it is a combination of the design, and the color, that makes it look 3 D. Wonderful surprises happen!

Choosing colors

It is enjoyable for me to choose the colors for the mandalas. Of course anything is possible.
These are all transparent colors.

Lotus Mandala

I love the lotus and all it represents. Lavender seemed like a good color for it. I will be trying another version of this soon.

Black and White

Some mandalas just look better left black and white.
This is one of them. It was difficult for me to use straight lines, as I am more inclined toward curves and circles.

Looking for sunshine!

Texas needs some sun! I'm not use to these dull dreary days. Painting sunshine helps!

# 16 Mandala, all curves

It is funny how color makes the patterns look different. These are paints from my travel kit.
They are Koi watercolors. OK, but not real exciting.
