Beauty in Simplicity

I was pleased with the way this Mandala turned out; light and airy. Again, this is painted with watercolors,
emphasizing the simplicity of the design.

3 D Mandala

This is one of my favorites. The center circle looks like it is overlapping the blue. I guess it is a combination of the design, and the color, that makes it look 3 D. Wonderful surprises happen!

Choosing colors

It is enjoyable for me to choose the colors for the mandalas. Of course anything is possible.
These are all transparent colors.

Lotus Mandala

I love the lotus and all it represents. Lavender seemed like a good color for it. I will be trying another version of this soon.

Flower Mandala

I love flowers. This flower mandala is colorful and uplifting.

This was a meditative undertaking. No color needed. # 24

Black and White

Some mandalas just look better left black and white.
This is one of them. It was difficult for me to use straight lines, as I am more inclined toward curves and circles.

This is the first mandala where I used markers. Staedtler mars graphics, and a yellow scented 

marker!
